Item 28 – Additional information shall be read as follows:
"The Environmental and Social Impact Assessment to be elaborated under this contract must be presented to the relevant Jordanian authorities and approved by these in accordance with the provisions and requirements of the applicable Jordanian legislation.
A complementary study on the technical, financial and economic feasibility of the Project will be carried out under a separate contract (the "Feasibility Study"). The results of the study to be elaborated under this contract will form an input into the Feasibility Study. The two Studies will from the basis for the possible intervention in the financing of the Project of International Financing Institutions (IFIs) comprising the European Investment Bank (EIB), Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and the World Bank/Clean Technology Fund (WB/CTF). A separate tender procedure will be launched for this complementary study.
An economic operator may participate to either or both tenders for the two above-mentioned studies and be awarded either or both ensuing contracts. Also, it is permitted, in principle, that an economic operator forms a consortium with different legal entities for each tender, as long as the restrictions to participation already specified in the relevant Procurement notices (in particular items 11 to 17 therein) are respected".
All other items shall remain unchanged.
