This Invitation for Prequalification follows the General Procurement Notice, number 6130-GPN-39004, issued on 18 May 2010, for project number 39004 “Ivano-Frankivsk District Heating Project”, published in Procurement Opportunities.

Ivano-Frankivsk Teplokomunenergo (the Employer) intends applying the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development [the Bank] and a grant from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) towards the cost of the supply and installation of individual Heating Substations, Heating network, Gas-fired Boilers and Biomass-fuelled boiler in municipal residential buildings and other buildings in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.

The Employer intends to prequalify firms and joint ventures to tender for one or more combinations of the following contract(s), see later, to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan/grant:

• Lot 1: Design, Supply, Install and Commission Heating Network Rehabilitation, Heating Substations, Gas-fired Boilers, Biomass-fuelled Boiler

• Lot 2a: Design, Supply and Commission Heating Network Rehabilitation, Heating Substations, Gas-fired Boilers, Biomass-fuelled Boiler

• Lot 2b: Install Heating Network Rehabilitation, Heating Substations, Gas-fired Boilers, Biomass-fuelled Boiler

• Lot 3a: Design, Supply, Install and Commission Heating Network Rehabilitation

• Lot 3b: Design, Supply, Install and Commission Heating Substations

• Lot 3c: Design, Supply, Install and Commission Gas-fired Boilers and Biomass-fuelled Boiler

Prequalification and tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank and the grant from SIDA is open to firms and joint ventures of firms from any country.

The prequalification documents must be duly completed and delivered to the address below, on or before 4 April 2011. Documents which are received late may be rejected and returned unopened.
