This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this project, which was published in the 'Procurement Opportunities Supplement', dated August 1999 and updated on the EBRD's web site on 02nd November 2010.

Closed Joint Stock Company "Ukrainian Energy Service Company" (UkrESCO), hereinafter referred to as "the Purchaser", intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the implementation of an energy saving project.

The Purchaser now invites sealed tenders from Suppliers for implementation of energy saving project A010: "Modernisation of the agricultural machinery park with purpose to minimize the fuel costs of the enterprise at SC "Experimental Enterprise "Askaniyskoye" of ASAES of the NAAS of Ukraine", vil. Tavrichanka, Kahovskiy region, Khersonskaya oblast, Ukraine".

The contract includes:

The Contract includes the supply the following agricultural technique:

• 2 (two) universal tractors of drawbar category 1.4 with engine power no less than 105 horsepower, with planetary / cylindrical type of wheel reduction gear and wheel arrangement 4x4;

• 1 (one) universal tractor of drawbar category 1.4 with engine power no less than 80 horsepower, with synchromesh gearbox and wheel arrangement 4x4;

• 2 (two) field wide-cut cultivators for the continuous tillage with coverage no less then 8 m, with centre hoe with the protection, with final spring-tooth harrow and the set of packing rollers;

• 1 (one) round baler;

• 2 (two) tipper semitrailers with tonnage no less than 6,5 t.

Tendering for contract to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank is open to firms from any country.

To be qualified for the award of a contract, tenderers must satisfy the following minimum criteria:

• During the last five years, the tenderer had experience of performance at least three contracts each with a value of at least USD 50 000,00 of supply similar technique;

• The tenderer shall have the necessary plant and equipment, licenses and experienced site staff to execute the aforesaid project within the time schedule;

• The tenderer shall be able to supply spare parts and provide repair service as required in tender documents;

• The tenderer shall have the annual turnover of USD 200.000,00 (two hundred thousand US dollars) in any year during the last three years;

• The tenderer shall submit the tender security in the amount of USD 5 000.00 (five thousand US dollars, 00 cents).

• The tenderer shall demonstrate that it has access to, or has available, liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit, and other financial means sufficient to meet the production cash flow for period of 1 month at the amount as not less than USD 200 000.00 (two hundred thousand US dollars, 00 cents) equivalent, taking into account the tenderer's commitments for other contracts.
